- Timing Risk: Money sent through Zelle® is typically available to the recipient within minutes. This speed means you should verify all information before sending.
- Recipient Identification Risk: Zelle® uses email addresses and mobile phone numbers to identify recipients. Ensure you have the correct information before sending money.
- Technical Risk: Electronic services may be subject to interruptions, delays, or failures beyond our control.
2. Compliance Information
Zelle® and our financial institution partners comply with various regulations, including:
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance: We maintain programs designed to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.
- Know Your Customer (KYC) Requirements: We verify the identity of users in accordance with applicable laws.
- Electronic Fund Transfer Act (EFTA): Your rights regarding electronic transfers are protected under federal law.
- Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Regulations: We adhere to consumer protection standards established by the CFPB.
